Dementia services: removals and storage. Byker LodgeDementia Services – Byker Lodge

Newcastle council dementia service provides short term, 24-hour support for people experiencing a crisis or coming out of hospital. The service aims to enable people to return home, with appropriate support, as soon as possible. G S Transport works closely with Newcastle City Council to assist in special care arrangements for clients and guests of Byker Lodge.

Removals and storage for supported housing associations

Supported Housing for learning difficulties and autism

Newcastle city council provides supported housing options if you have a learning disability or autism and you want to live independently with someone around to help you when you need it. Three types of living are provided by the council: Community Clusters, Supported Living, Concierge schemes. The Housing Advice Centre is the Council’s homelessness and housing advice service. Homelessness Prevention Officers (HPOs) aim to prevent homelessness for anyone from Newcastle who has a housing problem, and to deal with all homeless applications by helping people to gain access to suitable independent housing. G S Transport works closely with Newcastle housing advice centre to quickly and efficiently complete your hospital discharge and return you to safe accommodation – be it your home, or council arranged.
